Day of Joy Builds Community with Police at Christmas

At our Elf Angel Day of Joy, Heaven on Earth Now partners with the Northern district of the Baltimore Police Department to bring Christmas to 41 children who would otherwise go without. (A similar event benefited 129 children in Colorado.)

The fun starts with breakfast, carols, and conversation at Miss Shirley’s Cafe. Parents from the Baltimore community who might not otherwise have the means to provide presents for their kids are partnered with officers for shopping at Target. Our angels wrap the gifts which happy children will find under their tree on Christmas morning.

Joy is honoring the ties that bind communities, creating new bonds between officers and those they serve, and ensuring the warmth of Christmas is spread to all.
